Todays new stylish pin.......

A part of ourselves that we can never get enough of flaunting around is our tresses, be the style we sport short or long. Bad hair days, we all have ‘em but it’s time to change those for the better! We’re going to give you some great tips, girls to wow the boys with your soon-to-be fancy tresses. Yes, it’s this easy:

• Fancy Hair-Pins!

So you have short hair or your bangs have all grown out…well, that’s no problem! The good news is that while you probably tie up your hair in a messy bun or your hair remains short, you can make the most of fancy hair-pins. They usually are the kinds with a funky embellishment like a diamante-flower or dragonfly (basically anything you like) and it just makes your hairstyle all the more charming. This is because when people look at your hair, they would be drawn to the funky hair-piece rather than your hair.

• Alice In Wonderland

Hair-bands mostly suit any hair type be it curly, frizzy, straight, short, long…well, you get the idea! Long gone are the days when a hair-band was used just to keep the hair off your forehead because now, just a simple Alice band or a fancy hair-band can make you look so pretty. The hair-band looks best on oval and round faces, and you can use a simple design on a day when your outfit says casual-meets-pretty. Another great way of wearing a hair-band particularly with a fancy piece can be when you want a simple yet divalicious look while partying. And hey, whether your hair is pixie-short or Rapunzel-long, you can still work the hair-band!

• Funky Bobby-Pins

Among other types of hair accessories, bobby-pins can be used in a creative fashion to create a cute school-girl or a simply funky look. Bobby Pins are no longer available in just plain silver and black; now available in plenty colours, you can use bobby pins to create a cute, simple, no-fuss look. From pinning up your bangs or just creating a pattern in your hair with your pins, you are sure to make heads turn!

• Hair-Candy

Yes, this remains one of our favourite looks so far; embellished scrunchies or bands that have a fancy piece that can only be termed as ‘hair-candy’, these babies are super cute for your hair. Be it a bun, just a simple pony tail or pinning a small section of your hair up on one side, you can work this look. Go for a funky diamante-piece, that brings out the bling in you…you will love it, we promise!

Here are some stores that you can check in your cities to get a load of funky hair accessories for yourselves: Kisha, Accessorize, Lifestyle, Cheap Jack, Archies, Shoppers’ Stop & more.
