First Gujarati website on kidney ailments to be launched
Ahmedabad :
City-based nephrologist Dr Sanjay Pandya will be launching a Gujarati website on kidney-related diseases on Sunday with an aim to reach out to patients through internet. The website would be launched tomorrow by country’s leading cadaveric transplant expert Dr H L Trivedi. Pandya said he has spent over one month in preparation for the launch of this website. A 200-page book written by him would also be available on the website. The website in Gujarati is perhaps the first in the country to provide kidney related information to the needy. “I spent more than a year to complete the book and now all the 200 pages of this book would be available on the website and readers can go through it without spending money,” Pandya said. Nearly one crore people in the country are facing various kidney related problems. In Saurashtra, there would be over 80,000 people having kidney problems, he said. The motive for launching this website is to reach out to every Gujarati in India or abroad through Internet and provide them all possible information to prevent kidney related ailments, he said. After launching the Gujarati website tomorrow, efforts are on to launch the website in Hindi too by next week.
